Drug Investigations Across Five States Yield Multiple Arrests, Large Meth Seizures

Drug investigations in Missouri, Kentucky, Ohio, Iowa, and Georgia led to multiple arrests and seizures of methamphetamine, fentanyl, and cocaine. Authorities found over 10 pounds of meth in one case and filed trafficking and possession charges.

Drug investigations in Missouri, Kentucky, Ohio, Iowa, and Georgia resulted in multiple arrests and the seizure of methamphetamine, fentanyl, and cocaine, authorities said. The largest seizure came in Callaway County, Missouri, where about 10.02 pounds of methamphetamine were found.

The Callaway County Sheriff's Office arrested two Mexico, Mo., residents on Wednesday after stopping their vehicles on I-70 near Williamsburg. About 10.02 pounds of methamphetamine, $2,000, an Oxycodone pill, firearms, and additional drug paraphernalia were found in Louetta Dorsey's car. Brian Wilson faces a potential charge of first-degree drug trafficking; Dorsey was charged with second-degree drug trafficking and possession of a controlled substance.

In McCracken County, Kentucky, five suspects were arrested as part of a joint investigation with the Paducah Police Department. A controlled methamphetamine buy led to a search warrant at a home on the 2300 block of Maple Avenue in Paducah, where investigators seized meth, fentanyl, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia. Tyler Z. Blasdel and Phillip J. Fisk face trafficking charges, while Nina P. Choate, Hannah L. Walker, and Phillip W. Walker face possession charges.

In Meigs County, Ohio, a drug trafficking investigation produced two arrests. Annetta Lambert and Kevin Roush were taken into custody Friday evening after a search warrant was executed at an apartment in Middleport. Deputies found suspected fentanyl and methamphetamine, and Lambert was additionally charged with trafficking in drugs and tampering with evidence. Five juveniles were present at the residence, and Child Protective Services was contacted.

In Fort Madison, Iowa, Josey Fink and Charles Henry were arrested after the Lee County Narcotics Task Force found meth, cocaine, digital scales, syringes, and more than $3,000 in cash during a search of a home. Police said the cash had previously been used in meth buys. Fink faces multiple charges, including delivery of a controlled substance, while Henry faces possession charges.

In Hart County, Georgia, deputies searched a home on Oak Park Lane on July 23 and found 10 grams of suspected methamphetamine, digital scales, and other drug paraphernalia. Andrew Douglas Tester was charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, and Melanie Evans was arrested for criminal attempt to possess methamphetamine and marijuana, and also had an active parole warrant.

In Butler County, Ohio, Jacob Turner was arrested after a traffic stop. Deputies said Turner admitted to having a bag of meth, and a field test confirmed about 37 grams of suspected methamphetamine. He has been charged with possession of drugs, a third-degree felony.
