AbbVie says Skyrizi and Rinvoq are expected to top $31 billion in 2026 sales
AbbVie said Skyrizi and Rinvoq generated $26.0 billion in 2025 sales and are expected to exceed $31 billion in 2026. The company said the two immunology drugs continue to offset Humira erosion and drive top-line growth.
AbbVie said its newer immunology medicines, Skyrizi and Rinvoq, generated combined sales of $26.0 billion in 2025, exceeding expectations and representing year-over-year growth of more than 40%. The company expects combined Skyrizi and Rinvoq sales of more than $31 billion in 2026, as the two medicines continue to offset the impact of Humira’s loss of exclusivity.
A major portion of the company’s top-line growth came from Rinvoq and Skyrizi, which mitigated the impact of continued erosion in legacy drug Humira and reaffirmed their role as AbbVie’s key growth drivers. Immunology now generates about half of the company’s total revenues.
While Skyrizi sales rose 50% year over year on an operational basis to $17.56 billion, Rinvoq sales added $8.30 billion, up 39%. These gains were driven by strong volume growth and continued market share gains across all approved indications, particularly in the inflammatory bowel disease space, which includes ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease. Across other indications, Skyrizi continues to gain share in key psoriasis markets, while Rinvoq commands a leading mid-teens in-play patient share in rheumatoid arthritis, covering all lines of therapy in the United States.
AbbVie expects Skyrizi to generate approximately $21.5 billion in 2026 and Rinvoq around $10.1 billion. Strong immunology market growth, market share gains and momentum from new indications, such as the recent launch of Skyrizi in ulcerative colitis, as well as the potential for five new indications for Rinvoq over the next few years, are expected to drive growth.
Rinvoq could secure approval for two indications — vitiligo and alopecia areata — in 2026. In addition, phase III data with Rinvoq in hidradenitis suppurativa and systemic lupus erythematosus are expected in 2026. AbbVie said the next wave of potential approvals in Rinvoq could add roughly $2 billion to peak-year sales for the product.
AbbVie has successfully navigated the loss of exclusivity of Humira, which once generated more than 50% of its total revenues. Despite generic erosion, AbbVie expects to record about $2.9 billion from Humira sales this year.
Beyond immunology, AbbVie’s neuroscience portfolio increased almost 20% to $10.8 billion in 2025, driven by higher sales of Botox Therapeutic, Vraylar, Ubrelvy and Qulipta. Its oncology segment generated $6.6 billion in 2025, up 1.5% year over year as higher sales of Venclexta and contributions from Elahere and Epkinly partially offset the decline in Imbruvica sales.
AbbVie said global sales of its aesthetics portfolio declined 5.9% in 2025 due to continued macro challenges and weakened consumer sentiment. The company also said it invested more than $5 billion in 2025 to acquire innovative pipeline candidates, including several deals in immunology, oncology and neuroscience.
