RI State Police Warwick Arrests: DUI, Threats to Officials, Fentanyl Charges

RI State Police Warwick arrests logged in recent RI Trooper Log periods included charges for driving under the influence, threatening public officials, fentanyl possession, and larceny. The arrest logs covered Aug. 11–20, July 4–11, and Feb. 13–20 in the City of Warwick.
Several DUI arrests were recorded. At 11:21 p.m. Aug. 16, troopers arrested Shawn Mccarron, 29, of Central Falls, Rhode Island, for Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor – BAC .15 or Greater – First Offense (Phase I: 0.154, Phase II: 0.155) following a motor vehicle stop on Centerville Road. On Saturday, July 4, 2026 at 10:03 p.m., troopers arrested Adrian King, 58, of Rhode Island, for Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and/or Drugs – B.A.C .15 or Greater – Second Offense (Phase I: 0.292, Phase II: 0.272) after multiple calls reported an erratic operator and troopers located the vehicle on East Avenue. At 2:16 a.m. July 11, troopers arrested Calvin Hebert, 23, of West Greenwich, Rhode Island, for Driving Under the Influence of Liquor – BAC Unknown – First Offense and Refusal to Submit to Chemical Test – First Offense after a motor vehicle stop on Centerville Road.
On Monday, Feb. 16, at 11:20 p.m., troopers arrested Jesse Prestly, 47, of Cranston, Rhode Island, for Driving Under the Influence of Liquor – BAC .15 or Greater (Phase I: .222%; Phase II: .226%) – First Offense after a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95. On Tuesday, Feb. 17 at 1:29 a.m., troopers arrested Shackiellia Pridgen, 36, of Providence, Rhode Island, for Driving Under the Influence of Liquor/Drugs – BAC Unknown – First Offense and Refusal to Submit to Chemical Test after a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95.
On Wednesday, July 8, at 9:27 p.m., troopers arrested Christopher Brum, 27, of Warwick, Rhode Island, on an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant for Threats to Public Officials and Disorderly Conduct originating out of the Rhode Island State Police Scituate Barracks. Brum was processed at Rhode Island State Police Headquarters and held overnight pending arraignment at the Third Division District Court.
On Thursday, Jan. 19, 2026 at 11:19 p.m., troopers arrested Jeremy Holcomb, 45, of Warwick, Rhode Island, for Possession of a Schedule I-V Controlled Substance – Under 10 Grams (Fentanyl) and Larceny. On July 5, members of the Auto Theft Task Force arrested David O'Donnell, 37, of Warwick, Rhode Island, for Possession of Stolen Motor Vehicle (two counts), Conspiracy to Possess a Stolen Motor Vehicle, and Conspiracy to Commit a Crime Out of State. O'Donnell was turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution Intake Center pending arraignment at Second Division District Court.
At 11:30 a.m. Aug. 14, troopers arrested Kurt Cesar, 23, of Providence, Rhode Island, for Disorderly Conduct after assisting the Capitol Police with a disturbance at the Kent County Courthouse in Warwick. At 11:51 p.m. Aug. 14, troopers arrested Joseph Gomez, 23, of Cranston, Rhode Island, for a Third Division District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Arraignment on the original charge of Driving with Expired License, following a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 South. At 3:56 p.m., troopers arrested David Smith, 23, of North Providence, Rhode Island, for Violation of a No Contact Order – 2nd Offense and Driving with a Suspended/Revoked/Cancelled License – 4th Offense after a motor vehicle stop on Warwick Avenue. On Friday, July 10 at 1:30 a.m., troopers arrested Victor Perez Escobar, 37, of Newton, Massachusetts, for Driving after Denial/Revocation/Suspension – Certain Violations – First Offense after a motor vehicle stop on Route 95.
Most subjects were transported to the State Police Wickford Barracks, where they were processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released with notices to appear in Third Division District Court. Some were held overnight pending arraignment, and Smith was transferred to the ACI-Men's Intake Center to await arraignment as a bail and probation violator.
