Tempus AI Signs Precision Medicine Agreement With USC
Tempus AI signed an agreement to provide precision medicine technology to the University of Southern California. USC will gain access to molecular diagnostics, genomic profiling, clinical trial matching and AI tools.
Tempus AI said on Thursday that it has signed an agreement to provide its technology to the University of Southern California for precision medicine applications. Under the agreement, Tempus will provide molecular diagnostics and comprehensive genomic profiling technology to USC's Keck School of Medicine and Keck Medicine hospital system for clinical use.
The institutions will also gain access to Tempus' Time Trial clinical trial matching program, as well as its AI technology for addressing gaps in clinical care. Tempus and USC will also collaborate on the development of new diagnostics, therapies, and AI tools, the Chicago-based company said.
Financial and other terms were not disclosed. Earlier this month, Tempus inked an agreement to distribute Predicta Biosciences' whole-genome sequencing-based GenoPredicta assay. It also recently expanded an alliance with Gilead to include access to its AI platform and patient data for cancer drug development.
