Neurent Medical has closed an oversubscribed €62.5 million Series C financing round for its Neuromark medical device that treats chronic rhinitis. MVM Partners led the funding round, with significant participation from Sofinnova Partners, while further funding came from existing investors EQT Life Sciences, Atlantic Bridge, Fountain Healthcare Partners and Enterprise Ireland.
The company said Neuromark employs its proprietary Impedance Controlled Radiofrequency technology to target the overactive posterior nasal nerves that drive the symptoms of chronic rhinitis, which affects millions worldwide. The new investment will support commercial expansion, help bring Neuromark to patients and physicians, expand patient access, enable further evidence generation across broader populations and support the continued development of pipeline offerings.
As part of the financing, a partner at MVM Partners and a partner at Sofinnova Partners will join as board directors. The company previously said it would create 125 highly skilled jobs by the end of 2028, with roles in engineering, quality control, operations, supply chain, sales and marketing, when setting up its manufacturing facility in Oranmore.
