Fallopian tube cancer is a malignant neoplasm originating from the fallopian tube and is grouped clinically with ovarian and primary peritoneal carcinomas. It is a rare gynecologic cancer and often presents with nonspecific symptoms, which can delay diagnosis. Histologically, adenocarcinoma is the most common type.
