Patterns of CAKUT in Children at Sohag University Hospital
NCT07729566 · Status: NOT_YET_RECRUITING · Type: OBSERVATIONAL · Enrollment: 100
Last updated 2026-07-28
Summary
This is an observational study conducted at Sohag University Hospital to assess the clinical presentation, associated anomalies, and short-term outcomes of children diagnosed with Congenital Anomalies of the Kidney and Urinary Tract (CAKUT).
The investigators will include children from newborns to 18 years old who are diagnosed with CAKUT by ultrasound or other imaging methods. The study aims to describe how common different types of CAKUT are, what other health problems are associated with them, and what happens to these children during follow-up.
No experimental drugs or interventions will be given. The investigators will only collect data from patient medical records and routine follow-up visits.
The results of this study will help doctors in Egypt better understand CAKUT and improve early diagnosis and management for children
