Hormone Therapy Initiation After 65 Linked to Higher Cancer and Vascular Event Risks

A study published in Menopause found that initiating hormone therapy after age 65 is associated with increased risks for any cancer and cerebrovascular accidents. The analysis of 83,147 women also showed elevated hazards for cancer and vascular events among those who initiated HT at ages 50 to 65.
