Remicade (infliximab) is an anti-TNF biologic indicated for multiple inflammatory diseases including Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, psoriatic arthritis, and plaque psoriasis. The label classifies it as a tumor necrosis factor blocker and describes neutralization of TNF-alpha signaling. U.S. approval was first granted in 1998.
