NKTR-255

Drug

Drug Profile

NKTR-255 is an investigational long-acting polymer-conjugated recombinant IL-15 receptor agonist designed to enhance anti-tumor immunity. It expands and activates natural killer and CD8+ T-cell populations and is being studied in relapsed/refractory hematologic malignancies and solid tumor settings. Development is ongoing in early-phase clinical programs.

Drug Class
Polymer-conjugated IL-15 receptor agonist cytokine therapy
Approval Status
Investigational candidate in ongoing clinical studies; not approved.
Mechanism of Action
Targets IL-15 receptor pathways on NK and T cells, driving NK and memory CD8+ T-cell expansion/activation and enhancing anti-tumor immune responses including ADCC support.
Indications
  • \Relapsed/refractory multiple myeloma (investigational)\
  • \Relapsed/refractory non-Hodgkin lymphoma (investigational)\
  • \Other hematologic malignancies and solid tumors in clinical studies\
