NexGard Combo is a topical veterinary combination product for cats containing esafoxolaner, eprinomectin, and praziquantel. It provides broad-spectrum parasite control and prevention including heartworm prevention, nematodes, cestodes, fleas, and ticks in eligible cats and kittens. Use is restricted to veterinary prescription supervision.
The FDA has expanded animal drug options for New World screwworm through conditional approvals and emergency use authorizations. The agency lists products for cattle, dogs and cats and says its guidance page will be updated as more drugs move through the system.
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration issued two Emergency Use Authorizations on February 18, 2026, for NexGard products to treat New World screwworm infestations in dogs and cats.
