mRNA-1273 is the Moderna COVID-19 mRNA vaccine marketed as Spikevax for prevention of COVID-19. It is used for active immunization against SARS-CoV-2 in age and risk-defined populations. The FDA first approved Spikevax on January 31, 2022.
