Janumet is an oral fixed-dose antidiabetic combination of sitagliptin and metformin used as adjunct to diet and exercise for glycemic control in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus. It combines a DPP-4 inhibitor and a biguanide in twice-daily dosing. Initial U.S. approval was in 2007.
