Baricitinib is an oral immunomodulatory medicine marketed as Olumiant and used for conditions including rheumatoid arthritis, alopecia areata, and hospitalized COVID-19. It is a Janus kinase inhibitor targeting JAK1 and JAK2 pathways. The drug is approved in the U.S. and EU and is prescription-only.
