Bacillus Calmette-Guérin (BCG) is a live attenuated biologic used both as a tuberculosis vaccine and as intravesical immunotherapy in bladder cancer. It remains the only licensed vaccine against tuberculosis and is also established in non-muscle invasive bladder cancer care. In the U.S., BCG products are prescription-only.
