Ado-trastuzumab emtansine (trastuzumab emtansine) is an antibody-drug conjugate marketed as Kadcyla for HER2-positive breast cancer settings. It combines trastuzumab with the cytotoxic agent DM1 to deliver targeted anti-tumor activity after HER2 binding and internalization. FDA marketing approval was first granted in 2013.
