Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy is an inherited myocardial disorder characterized by unexplained left ventricular hypertrophy and variable clinical manifestations ranging from asymptomatic disease to heart failure, arrhythmia, or sudden cardiac death. It is commonly caused by pathogenic variants in sarcomeric protein genes. Clinical management is risk-stratified and long-term.
