High grade gliomas are a group of aggressive malignant intrinsic brain tumors, typically WHO grade III and IV, including anaplastic gliomas and glioblastoma. They are associated with high recurrence rates and poor prognosis despite multimodal therapy. Management generally includes surgery plus chemoradiation.
