B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia is an aggressive, fast-growing leukemia characterized by overproduction of immature B-cell lymphoblasts in bone marrow and blood. It is the most common subtype of acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
Metabolic pathway scores consistently distinguished patients who developed severe neurologic events after CAR T-cell therapy across six clinical trials, surpassing traditional inflammatory markers in predictive performance.
Recent studies demonstrate significant advances in engineered immune cell therapies, including enhanced CAR-T cells for solid tumors through NR2F6 deletion and mass production of CAR-NK cells from cord blood stem cells capable of generating millions of tumor-killing cells.
A Phase II trial led by WVU Cancer Institute reports the first-ever use of subcutaneous blinatumomab in CD19-positive mixed phenotype acute leukemia, with the first patient achieving complete remission after one cycle.
