Summary

This study aims to compare the analgesic efficacy, opioid consumption, motor function preservation, and quality of recovery of ultrasound-guided deep iliacus plane block (DIPB) and transmuscular quadratus lumborum block (QLB) in patients undergoing total hip arthroplasty (THA).

Interventions

DRUG

Deep iliacus plane block

Patients will receive ultrasound-guided deep iliacus plane block (DIPB) using 25 mL of 0.25% bupivacaine.

DRUG

Quadratus lumborum block

Patients will receive ultrasound-guided transmuscular quadratus lumborum block (QLB) using 25 mL of 0.25% bupivacaine.
