Effect of TECAR on Supraspinatus Tendon Thickness in Supraspinatus Tendinitis
NCT07794033 · Status: NOT_YET_RECRUITING · Phase: NA · Type: INTERVENTIONAL · Enrollment: 50
Last updated 2026-09-01
Summary
Is the TECAR therapy effective on supraspinatus tendon thickness, sub acromial space, pain intensity , shoulder range of motion, muscle strength ( supraspinatus and middle fiber of deltoid) and functional disabilities in patients with supraspinatus tendinitis?
Conditions
- Supraspinatus Tendonitis
Interventions
- OTHER
-
TECAR therapy
Patients will be in a comfortable side-lying with treated shoulder uppermost and clean the area over the affected shoulder, apply coupling medium and then apply Capacitive mode to shoulder muscles for 10 minutes and Resistive mode for another 10 minutes.
- OTHER
-
conventional physiotherapy
Patients will receive conventional physiotherapy (range of motion exercises, stretching exercises, strengthening exercises, and scapular stabilization exercises).
