A Study to Evaluate the Effects of a Supplement on Mucus Clearance and Respiratory Symptoms

Summary
This is a randomized, triple-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trial evaluating the effects of the BetterLungs Mullein + Chlorophyll supplement on mucus clearance and respiratory symptoms over 60 days. One hundred adult participants experiencing chest mucus build-up, difficulty clearing mucus, breathlessness, and low energy levels will be enrolled and randomized to either the active supplement or a matched placebo.
Participants will take their assigned product once daily in the morning mixed with water and will complete self-reported questionnaires at Baseline, Day 20, Day 40, and Day 60.

50 participants receive the BetterLungs Mullein + Chlorophyll supplement (ingredients: mullein leaf, chlorophyll, vegetable glycerin, purified water) taken once daily in the morning with the first meal of the day; 2 mL (two full droppers) mixed with 8 ounces of water for 60 days

50 participants receive a matched placebo product (ingredients: moss coloring jungle green color, violet color, spirulina, vegetable glycerin, purified water) taken once daily in the morning with the first meal of the day; 2 mL (two full droppers) mixed with 8 ounces of water for 60 days; the taste and appearance of the placebo are matched to the active product
