Immediate Effects of Pogo Jumps on Vertical Jump Performance in Young Basketball Players
NCT07722273 · Status: NOT_YET_RECRUITING · Phase: NA · Type: INTERVENTIONAL · Enrollment: 15
Last updated 2026-07-30
Summary
This study aims to examine the acute effects of a low-volume bilateral pogo jump protocol on CMJ and DJ performance, as well as its feasibility and immediate tolerance in adolescent male basketball players.
Conditions
- Post-activation Performance Enhancement
Interventions
- OTHER
-
POGO-JUMP
Participants will perform 3 sets of 8 consecutive bilateral pogo jumps (24 ground contacts in total), with 1 min of passive recovery between sets. They will be instructed to jump with maximal intent, minimize ground contact time, and maintain relative knee extension while avoiding a deep countermovement.
- OTHER
-
CONTROL
Participants will walk continuously at a comfortable, low intensity for approximately 3 min, without running, jumping, or abrupt changes of pace.
