Summary

This study aims to evaluate the acute effect of standardized taping of the dominant ankle on lower limb asymmetry during the countermovement jump (CMJ) test in healthy judokas. Forty healthy, active judokas aged 18-35 years will perform CMJ testing under two conditions: with and without standardized ankle taping. Lower limb asymmetry and selected biomechanical parameters will be measured using the Meloq EasyBase force platform. The results may improve understanding of the effects of ankle taping on jumping performance and contribute to injury prevention strategies in sport.

Standardized Ankle Taping

Standardized taping was applied to the dominant ankle before performing the countermovement jump test to evaluate its acute effect on lower-limb asymmetry and jump performance.
